Earth's Final Hours by David Hogan

This is a new take on the end of the world theme, this time brought by some matter from an exploded white hole that stops the Earth's rotation.
It has three great problems: the characters are unidimensional clichés, the plot has absolutely no credibility (a long time has passed since anyone believed the world could be saved by a couple of lost satellites that can restart its rotation) and the special effects and behaviour of the supposed solar flares are ridiculous. There are other problems, typical of these films, such as the never-ending bullets, the never-ending stamina of the people fighting, punching and kicking, the predictability of the plot, and so on. Last, but not least, the girl / love interest of the super hacker son of a spy science buff kid is so idiotic she got on my nerves. She has self-confidence issues to the point of fearing she might not be able to push a red button when he says so.
A film to avoid.
